School Tours
The Museum hosts over 20,000 pre-school through college students per year on field trips. Anually, the Museum provides about a 1000 Teachers' Mineral Kits and educational packets to Arizona teachers.
Scout Tours
This program is a participatory event where Scouts can get the necessary information they need to qualify for their geology badge.
Outreach Program
The Museum's "roadshow" classroom program for schools outside of central Maricopa County.
Education Kits for Teachers
Provides details about free kits for Arizona teachers.
Lapidary, Silversmithing and Wire Wrapping Classes
Learn how to create jewelry and other decorative items from minerals and rocks.
Gift Shop
The gift shop features mineral specimens, with a large selection of Arizona minerals.
Volunteer Program
You can help the Department's Mine Information Center and Museum by volunteering your time and services.
